Hello! I’m Kris, the Sophia’s Grace Foundation Transport Coordinator.

I first heard of Sophia’s Grace Foundation when I volunteered to be a transport driver in 2022 helping move 7 dogs over 845 miles. That is the tip of the iceberg for my experience in rescue transport. To date, I have personally driven 93 trips, moving 140 animals over 11,637 miles.

 

In 2018, I began helping other rescue teams by monitoring transports making sure that drivers and dogs were doing well along their travels. In 2020, I officially became a member of the SGF Volunteer team by fostering the most adorable chi-doxie mix you’ve ever seen. I officially became the Sophia’s Grace Foundation Transport Coordinator in the Spring of 2022. Since joining the team, I have helped the team coordinate over 19,000 miles of transports. I couldn’t do any of it without our amazing transport volunteers, the SGF leadership team, plus my spreadsheets and mail merge files.
