BIOGRAPHY

Meet Leeah!

Leeah came into rescue after the only person she’d ever known passed away. She was very stressed and scared with all the change in her world. She has started to relax and trust new people in her life, but she will nip out of fear when she first meets a stranger. Leeah would love to get settled into a forever home to spend the rest of her days being cherished and loved.

She is a low-key girl. She likes to be by your side whether it's when watching TV, working, or being outside. She does have separation anxiety. She will bark if she is left alone and will mournfully howl, so she would do best with a retired person or someone who is home more often than not. Her potty training is a work in progress, She has had several accidents, but being on a schedule has helped. She keeps a clean crate/kennel. She likes to go outside and knows what it means when asked if she wants to go out to potty. Her foster sister has taught her to chase the squirrels, running along the fence line until the squirrel disappears in the tree.

She does sleep in bed at your feet. She likes to sleep/lay on your lap. Just give her time and patience. She would be great for an older person. Leeah will make someone a VERY loyal girl if given the chance and patience.

Leeah is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and

heartworm negative. She has also had a dental. She is being fostered in Massillon, OH, and is available for an adoption fee of $300.00.
