BIOGRAPHY

Meet Willow!

Willow is a retired breeder momma who has weened her last puppy and is now ready for retirement. She came in matted and had to be shaved and was an absolute pro at her grooming appointment. As a retired breeder she is a bit timid and will need a patient home that understands she needs time to learn how to be just a pet who no longer has momma duties.  She will thrive in a calm, patient environment. 

Personality & Behavior

Willow is a sensitive and gentle soul that craves affection. She loves to sit in your lap or beside you and snuggle. She has not barked once since she has been in her foster home.  She has recently discovered toys and loves chew bones. Willow has not shown any aggression with food or high value items.  Willow is not leash trained and she is working on perfecting her potty-training skills.

Ideal Home

Willow will do best in a calm quieter home with an adopter who understands the needs of a sensitive dog. A quiet environment, predictable routine, and gentle approach will help her continue building confidence. Willow also needs a fenced yard since she is not leash trained. She would make a wonderful companion for someone seeking a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing small dog.

Willow is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped. She is being fostered in York, PA and is available for an adoption fee of $400.00.
