Meet Koda!

Koda had a tough beginning. He was raised in a rural shelter during until he was about 6 months old. He missed the socialization with dogs and humans most dogs get and learned bad habits he is still working to overcome . Because of this, Koda needs an experienced and patient owner who is physically active.

Koda prefers women because that is who has been working with him. Koda is shy with people. It is best to let him figure out his comfort level and he will warm up. Koda does not like tall, thin teenagers and reacts with fear aggression. He has nipped but not
broken skin that I am aware of.
 

He is great with dogs his size or larger. He plays rough and because he is still learning, he can be too rough. He takes correction from other dogs and his person really well. He loves to play!!! Koda is a good and sweet dog. Once you have earned his trust, he will give you his all and then some. Behaviorally he has worked hard to learn and he is willing to try. He loves to cuddle on the couch.

Koda would do best in a physically active home with a fenced in yard and another dog about his age from whom he can learn. He needs a quiet home with not a lot of visitors so he is not
overwhelmed. If given a chance Koda will be a great dog.
 

Koda is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, an
heart worm negative. He is being fostered in the Philadelphia PA area and is available for an adoption fee of $300.00.
