Meet Amanda!

​

Amanda lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with her boyfriend and 3 dogs.  She works as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Administrator of the Navigation Commission for the Commonwealth of PA. 

 

In 2012, she adopted Frank from SGF and has been a long-time supporter ever since.  She then started volunteering for SGF and ended up “foster failing” on her other 2 dogs; Donnie, a Chihuahua mix, and Tommy, a Cairn Terrier.   

 

She is now performing home visits for the mid-Atlantic region and the social media director for the rescue.  In her spare time, she enjoys learning about native plants and how beneficial they are to the ecosystem, bird watching, and planning her bucket list trip to Costa Rica to see all the different species of hummingbirds.
