Tommy was picked up as a stray, so we have no history on him other then what's been observed in his foster home. This sweet boy is between 1 and 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds. He came into rescue with double Cherry Eye which has been fixed along with all his other vetting: neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and a Pro-heart shot which protects him for 1 year from getting heartworm!!
Tommy loves to play with all the young dogs in his foster home, so he needs a young companion dog in his new home. He is housetrained to go out a doggie door into a fenced yard to go potty. We realize not everyone has a doggie door but with time it should be no problem to teach him to tell you when he has to go out because he's a smart little guy! Plus, with a companion dog that already knows the drill, Tommy is sure to catch on fast!! Now onto his breed. He's a mix and we've had a lot of guesses as to what he could be. Dachshund, poodle, Lhasa Apso and even a little yorkie mixed in. It's really anyone’s guess and we hope is adopter will get an DNA test done on him and share the results! Whatever he is, we think we can all agree that he is a whole lot of adorable…with the perfect temperament to match! Tommy will make a wonderful addition to any family! Tommy is currently fostering in Paris, OH, in Stark County and his adoption fee is $375.00.
Those interested in adopting must live within two hours of Paris, OH.
