Snoopy

Snoopy is a 10+ year old JRT who is doing well with house-training, is neutered, and good with other dogs and cats. Snoopy came to rescue from a shelter in TN and was thought to be blind. At the vet he was diagnosed with dry eye syndrome and will need inexpensive eye drops for the rest of his life. He tolerates the drops amazingly well! Snoopy does experience some difficulty in low light but can make out shapes and sees some light and shadows.

He can easily navigate walking on a leash, which he enjoys. Snoopy is very food oriented and has learned potty outside means a cookie inside which he eagerly waits for! He does need to be fed separate from other dogs as he startles easily due to his sight loss and will lash out over food if another dog gets into his space. Snoopy also loves to ride in the truck, loves to snuggle with his foster Mom on the big bed, but is also happy to snuggle into a bed on the floor.

His one vice - when he wants to play - he is VERY vocal!  "Play with me now", he seems to say. Snoopy does not play with toys - probably because of his vision - but loves to bow and "play fight" with Mom and Dad.
