Meet George! George is about 10 years old and such a loyal companion! George joined SFG as an owner surrender due to moving...upon pick up it was noticed he needed vetting badly. He was taken in and had his nails trimmed and all of his shots, microchip inserted. He was a true trooper through it all! George unfortunately was found to have skin cancer and has since had surgery to have it removed and is healing very nicely.

George is currently fostered in Leechburg, PA with two four legged sisters. George LOVES going outside and hanging out. He also gets super excited for walk time. His favorite thing to do is follow his foster mommy around the house and be right with her. He lives with three kids and has been exposed to children of all ages - infant to teenager and loves them all. He is NOT crate trained and seems to be terrified of it. He would not do well if he needed to be confined to a small space.

George is working really, really hard at house training.  He loves to mark his territory so wears a belly band when he's home alone. With his love of going outside though, he is getting much better with consistency! He shows his young side when around other pups his size.  He does love to play when smaller dogs are around him.  With his current foster siblings, he is a bit timid to play (they are much bigger than him) but loves to run around with them. George loves to sleep with his humans. He sleeps very well and doesn't move unless he gets cold then he wants under the blankets! It really is the cutest thing ever!

George would do well in almost any house situation we can think of! He is such a sweet, good boy! If you think you would be a good fit for George, please fill out the application; his adoption fee is $200.00. Please note he has not been cat tested but given his sweet demeanor we feel he would do fine.
