Meet Penny! Penny is a petite 8-pound Yorkshire terrier mix discovered wandering the streets alone. Thankfully, she found her way into a foster home with three furry brothers, all weighing under 20 lbs.

She gets along well with them and occasionally joins in their playtime, but she's not afraid to vocalize her boundaries with a warning growl.

Penny's favorite pastimes include lounging under a cozy blanket on the couch, showering her humans with affectionate puppy kisses, and getting overly excited occasionally, resulting in a small puddle left behind.

Despite her heart murmur, which doesn't currently need medication, she manages her luxating patella with daily Gabapentin, making her a bit unsteady on her back legs but still mobile. Her distinctive little tappy footsteps announce her presence wherever she goes.

Due to her health conditions and preferences, Penny may not be the best match for households with small children or large dogs. She's not a fan of prolonged grooming sessions and may protest if her foster mom takes too long cleaning her eyes.

In essence, Penny is a lovely girl seeking a peaceful and
loving home to spend her golden years in.

Penny is currently being fostered in Mechanicsburg, PA and her adoption fee is $350.00. Applications to adopt her may be submitted via the following website:
