BIOGRAPHY

Meet Molly!

Molly came into rescue as a retired breeding dog. She is still learning to be a family pet, but she’s come a long way since coming into foster care.

Once Molly warms up to you, she is a goofy girl. She will require an adopter that will be patient with her and understand that she is still learning how to be just a dog. She has learned to go up 3 steps from the breezeway to the kitchen in her foster home but has not mastered down the steps, she needs to be carried down to go outside.

She gets very excited for breakfast and dinner, prancing and running around. The only time she is vocal is when she hears an unfamiliar noise. Molly is afraid of thunder and fireworks.

She doesn't mind her crate, needs some coaxing to go in.

She is like a big teddy bear. Molly isn't the cuddly kind unless her foster mom puts her on the couch with her. She’s still learning how to accept being the pampered princess she deserves to be!

She rides well in the car. Working on leash training, but with her fear of noises, she tends to be startled easily and try to run.

We feel she is best suited to a house with a fenced yard, no children, no high energy dogs, but a calm, balanced dog that she can model their behavior. Someone that will understand her much needed decompression time. Someone not looking for a lap dog, just a companion. 

Molly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She has also recently had a dental. She is being fostered in Massillon, OH and is available for an adoption fee of $350.00.
